Our annual President's weekend trip to Hocking Hills, Ohio. Hiking was beautiful, but treacherous. Unfortunately, one of our friends fell down icy stairs and fractured her leg in 2 places. An amazing team of firemen, EMTs and Park Rangers helped carry her up the steep cliffs to a waiting ambulance. A second friend fell while trying to help, and hit her head on a rock wall. She also had to be transported to the local hospital. Despite these tragic incidences, there was still lots of laughter, good food and beautiful hikes. We learned we can count on each other in a crisis, and without a doubt, we will go back next year.
